Foothills Genealogical Society will meet on Wednesday, Sep. 13, at 1:00 p.m. for a program on the Civilian Conservation Corps in Colorado: The Work They Did and a Primer on Using Their Records for Family History, presented by author Bob Audretsch.
Bob’s presentation will include dozens of archived CCC photographs, never shown publicly, that he acquired during three years of challenging research. CCC artifacts also will be available for people to look over and handle.
Guests are welcome at this meeting in Applewood Valley United Methodist Church, 2035 Ellis St. There is ample parking and handicap access.
