West Line Village construction starts

Development to bring housing to east Lakewood

On Oct. 19, City of Lakewood staff, elected officials, DIRC Homes and Trailbreak Partners, and more gathered at the future site of West Line Village, a transit-oriented-development on West 10th Avenue and Depew Street, for a groundbreaking.

“This is a big day for the City of Lakewood, and for this neighborhood,” said Mayor Adam Paul. “It’s more important than ever that infill projects like these become part of the fabric of the community. Communication is key.”

The development will bring 134 new market-rate town homes adjacent to Sheridan Station.

It include nine floor plans ranging from 800 to 1,750 square feet, including studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, one- and two-car garages, as well as a front or backyards.
