Story Seeds Storytelling Conference

Rocky Mountain Storytelling (RMS), a volunteer-led non-profit organization of storytellers, story listeners, and story lovers will once again be hosting their annual “Story Seeds Conference." The conference features a keynote presentation with Donna Washington, an internationally known, multiple award winning storyteller, spoken word recording artist, and author. The conference also includes workshops with Lani Peterson, Cooper Braun, and Jeff Gere and performances by Yvonne Healy, Kate Lutz, Kathy Santopietro Weddel, Larry Holgerson, Karla Huntsman, Lani Petereson, Pam Faro, Evelyn McLane, and Sarah McNeil. The conference schedule of workshops can be found at The conference ticket price includes lunch and tickets to a Friday evening concert and Saturday Evening Story Slam. 

Story Slam

Rocky Mountain Storytelling (RMS), a volunteer-led non-profit organization of storytellers, story listeners, and story lovers is hosting their annual Story Slam. The event will include personal and traditional tales on the theme of “luck.” Attendees are invited to bring their best five minute story and RMS will randomly draw storyteller names to perform without notes. A panel of judges will then determine the winner and award a prize. Tickets to the story slam are $15 each or $55 for families of 4+.
