Annual renewal for RNOs has begun

The annual renewal, and new registration, period for Denver’s Registered Neighborhood Organizations (RNO) began on Dec. 1 and ends on Jan. 31.

RNOs are groups formed among neighbors and property owners that meet regularly and contribute to the betterment of the Denver community. “RNOs receive notification of proposed zoning amendments, landmark designation applications, planning board and board of adjustment hearings, liquor and cabaret licenses and other activities occurring in the neighborhood,” states the city’s website.

RNOs “must meet a set of eligibility requirements laid out in the Denver Revised Municipal Code, Chapter 12, Article III” and register annually with the city’s Community Planning and Development Department to “ensure that city agencies have up-to-date contact information and that all RNOs are meeting eligibility requirements,” states the city’s website.

RNO renewal and new registration can be done online at DenverGov.org/RNO.
