Douglas County veterans were honored at Memorial Day services on May 29. The American Legion Post 1187 held services at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock and Bear Canyon Cemetery in Sedalia. In Castle Rock, Cub Scout Pack 261 assisted with a wreath posting and in Sedalia, Cub Scout Pack 631 assisted with the flag raising.
