The Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund’s 2021 holiday ornament is now available. The 13th in the collectable holiday ornament series, the 2021 ornament is inspired by the original women who owned the Colorado Governor’s Mansion — also known as the Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion — located at 400 E. Eighth Ave. in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. Called West Portico, the 2021 ornament celebrates the beauty of the home’s west portico, and features Alice Cheesman driving an early Ford Model T. Proceeds from ornament sales benefit the Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund, which is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization established in 2008 to ensure the ongoing preservation and use of the Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion. The ornament costs $35 plus shipping, and the entire 13-ornament collection is available for $455 plus shipping. To learn more or to order ornaments, visit www.coloradoshome.org/gift-shop.
