The Newman Center at the University of Denver offers a season of innovative arts performances including a visit by the Paul Taylor Dance Company on at 7:30 p.m. on March 27. The New York-based Taylor company is headed by Michael Novak, Taylor’s chosen successor, since Taylor’s death in 1984. The company was originally formed in 1954. Dancers associated: Merce Cunningham, Martha Graham, George Balanchine. Voices West
“Starry, Starry Night” is the title for the upcoming Voices West concerts in Littleton at 7:30 p.m. on March 18 at Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S. Datura St., Littleton, and 2 p.m. on March 19 at St. Timothy Episcopal Church, 1401 E. Dry Creek Road, Centennial. Tickets at the door. This is the 45th season for the choral group that started as The Littleton Chorale, with a group from Littleton’s Friends of the Library/Museum.

Colorado history
Columbine Genealogical and Historical Society will meet at 1 p.m. on March 14 to hear Colorado author Randi Samuelson-Brown talk about “The Bad Old Days of Colorado.” The program will be at The Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 8545 E. Jazz and art
“Blind Visionaries” showcases a musical performance with original jazz by the Daniel Kelly Trio and New York’s Seeing With Photography Collective, a group of visually impaired and sighted photographers, who create colorful, thought-provoking visual art through “Light Painting.” It will be held at 7:30 p.m. on April 21 at Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S.
